In Dharamsala, Gu-Chu-Sum is a school where ex political prisoners are provided shelter along with their families. Established on 27th March, 1991, the school aims at training them for better livelihood.
Gu-Chu-Sum refers to an important date marking the Lhasa protests of 1980। Through this rehabilitation effort, the ex political prisoners are seeking a better future.
